Q1’s Main Partnerships & Collaborations

KYVE’s primary goal for 2024 and beyond is to become the historical data backbone of all Web3 projects that are in need of such support, making its trustless solution the standard. This first quarter, KYVE made impactful steps in this direction, bringing on strategic partners and collaborations to expand KYVE’s ecosystem and data support.

ZetaChain Partners With KYVE: Early Mainnet Support
ZetaChain has partnered with KYVE to provide its vast ecosystem with trustless Zeta data following its mainnet launch. Via this integration, ZetaChain validators will be able to leverage this integration and KYVE’s latest node tool KSYNC to easily sync and join the network. Developers can also leverage the trustless historical data for streamlined ecosystem development, transparency, and overall scalability. This partnership represents a significant leap forward in the realm of trustless Web3 development, fundamentally enhancing the data experience.

Noble Partners With KYVE: A Trustless Backup Of Asset Issuance
In the fast-advancing Cosmos space, Noble has partnered with KYVE to safeguard its historical data, securing the past to empower a scalable future. Once the data pools are fully caught up to Noble’s latest state, any integrator of Noble assets who aims to sync a full node to easily index historical Noble data will be able to do so in a reliable, fast, and low-resource way. This integration also opens up to dashboard and indexer building, as well as enhanced data analysis. Read further into how this data can be leveraged.

Lava Partners With KYVE: Streamlining The Validator Experience
Build whatever, wherever, trustlessly, thanks to KYVE and Lava’s partnership. Leveraging each protocol’s strengths, this collaboration is dedicated to creating a seamless and enriched data experience for all data users. More specifically, coming together to further streamline and enhance the node runner experience.

“We’re delighted to support KYVE, a project with similar aspirations as Lava — to make blockchains accessible and easy to build on. Node operators are fundamental to web3 — they can now find opportunities in both KYVE and Lava ecosystems. — Yair Cleper, Co-Founder at Lava Network.

KYVE Integrates Celestia: Supporting Scalable Modular Expansion
KYVE is continuing its support for modular expansion with its latest integration, Celestia. In doing so, KYVE has taken on the role of preserving Celestia’s historical data, advancing scalability and reliable historical data for all amidst Celestia’s pruning of historical data. This is the first of more announcements to come, with KYVE aiming to not only support Celestia, but all rollups built on top. Read further into this modular support case study.

Rollchains Partner With KYVE: Data Permanence
KYVE is bringing data permanence to Rollchains! With Celestia underneath, every Cosmos chain that integrates the Rollchains module will also off-board all of its historical data in a streamlined, decentralized way onto Arweave via KYVE, enabling exceptional scalability.

Latest Tech Developments

KYVE is always striving to evolve and best adapt to all data users’ needs, ensuring streamlined, decentralized data management. With this in mind, this quarter heavily focused on advancing KYVE’s technology and the overall network experience.

1 Year of KYVE mainnet
It’s officially been 1 year since KYVE went live! Pioneering Data Rollups-as-a-Service for ultimate blockchain and dApp scalability and achieving:

  • 35M+ transactions (200k+ tx average per day this month)
  • 4TB+ of data archived onto Arweave
  • 100 chain validators and 65+ active protocol validators

Unveiling KYVE’s Web App V3
Navigating trustless interchain data just got that much easier with KYVE’s Web App v3! From custom query playgrounds to streamlined network syncing and enhanced user paths, unlock new data bounds for chains like Cosmos Hub, Cronos, Osmosis, and others.

“This new version of the KYVE web app makes everything smoother and easier to manage. The home page gives you direct access to the core features of KYVE with the ability to query and use the validated data. We love the new profile pictures with the KYVE theme as well!” — David, CTO of Crosnest.

Making Historical Data A Public Good
KYVE has officially archived and validated the following historical data, making it all a public good for the interchain ecosystem:

  • 530GB+ of Cosmos Hub
  • 2.1T+ of Osmosis
  • 100GB+ of Archway
  • 400GB+ of Axelar
  • 270GB+ of Cronos
  • 7GB+ of Noble
  • Celestia was recently integrated on mainnet and will soon start being archived and validated.

KYVE is also expanding its solution into new ecosystems, bringing forward a solution for Ethereum’s Dencun update with EIP-4844. This update introduces historical data pruning, making it essential for Layer 2s to plan to properly preserve their historical data. KYVE is currently testing out its historical data solution for L2s like Arbitrum and Optimism.

XDEFI Wallet On KYVE’s Web App & Enhanced Mobile Support
XDEFI has been integrated with KYVE’s web app, expanding the accessibility of KYVE’s ecosystem to XDEFI’s 200k+ users and further streamlining our web app’s user experience.

Plus, you can easily connect with the KYVE web app from anywhere thanks to the latest WalletConnect integration enabling mobile support for Keplr (iOS & Android), Leap (iOS & Android), and Cosmostation (only Android for now). Seamlessly join KYVE and take part in the creation of the biggest trustless data hub.

Introducing supervysor v2 For KYVE’s Protocol Validators
In support of cutting down resources and optimizing node setups, KYVE has released v2 of its node tool supervysor, which not only further streamlines the chain syncing process for protocol validators but also offers state pruning to minimize storage and config optimization for enhanced scalability. Give it a try!

“Can you have an archival node for each project supported by KYVE? Osmosis alone takes terabytes of data. Here’s the thing: You don’t need data that has already been saved. This is where supervysor comes in, you only need to set how many future blocks you want and how often to prune the old data, and the tool takes care of everything else. Thanks to the KYVE team’s consideration for their validators. Keep up the good work!” — liver23, KYVE protocol validator.

KYVE’s First Validator/Builder Call on Discord
With all of the new developments around validator and builder tooling enhancements, KYVE hosted its first official Validator/Builder call on Discord for the community to join in on. This will be a recurring call aimed at sharing the latest updates and new features for ecosystem participants, as well as providing an open space for direct feedback and support from KYVE.
