Since our start in early 2021, KYVE has undergone many technological advancements and shifts. Starting out as a bounty project for bridging Polkadot data onto Arweave, it quickly became an entire network built around providing trustless, valid data to the public. Not just solving the original issue but tackling Web3’s current data hazards entirely.

These past few years, Web3 has been riddled with data hacks, inconsistencies, and overall centralized points of failure, leaving projects’ data infrastructure heavily at risk. With KYVE Network providing fast and easy tooling for decentralized data validation, immutability, and retrieval, these access barriers and hazards can be avoided, promoting a truly trustless future for secure Web3 building.

To go along with our development, an updated representation of the KYVE Network and its website was a must. Therefore, our Design and Marketing Teams have worked hard over the past few months to bring forward just that.

“KYVE’s evolution gave our team a new vision for the future of Web3 data. Updating the overall look and website just made sense to effectively support our efforts and further promote usability and understanding of our products.” Said KYVE’s co-founder and CEO, Fabian Riewe.

New Year, New Look

While still keeping the original logo, our Design Team has slightly shifted the color scheme and overall design carried out across our media channels and website to give KYVE a refreshed and distinct look for 2023. Our Marketing Team has also tackled updating KYVE’s entire Discord server, providing new channels for KYVE products and testing, as well as further security measures.

When updating the website, we focused on highlighting the network as a whole, bringing forward information on all possibilities that can be built around KYVE.

This meant adding a new Ecosystem Page where users can look further into current and projected KYVE use cases within the network. Seeing that there are unlimited ways to use KYVE data, providing a space for people to explore current examples can help spark further ideas and possibilities within other projects.

We also updated the Team Page, now providing KYVE’s origin story and the Roadmap and Community Page. In doing so, we can provide more transparency along our journey of creating KYVE and a more inviting space for new community members to join in.

The last major update to the website is around KYVE Network’s products, bringing them together into one efficient tech stack…

Introducing the KYVE Network Stack

KYVE, our decentralized data lake, is at the core of the KYVE Network, providing decentralized, valid data that anyone can use to build trustlessly in Web3. Initially, in order to access KYVE’s data, one had to build their own sourcing solution, such as an indexer.

While this is still possible, our team opted to provide a complete tech stack for all trustless data requirements to promote easy development within the KYVE Network. Starting with releasing our Data Pipeline in Beta for those wanting a no-code solution for importing KYVE data into their preferred backends.

As the year goes on, the tech stack will expand to best adapt to all data situations, opening up to more use cases, such as providing a decentralized oracle for cross-chain data sets.

2023 Roadmap Revealed

We’re very excited to share what KYVE has in store for this year! Starting off 2023’s roadmap with the codebase audit, followed by the release of our Oracle in Beta and the Genesis Validator Program, all building up to KYVE’s Mainnet Launch at the end of Q1! Later on in the year, you can expect a Bug Bounty program, hackathons, Grant Program, a Web App V3 release, and much more!

2023 is the year we really get to kick things into high gear, bringing on exciting collaborations, initiatives, events, and more to best spread KYVE’s solution across the Web2 and Web3 spaces.

Standing Up For a Trustless Future

Providing a truly trustless future for data users and builders is critical for Web3’s growth and sustainability. With KYVE’s mainnet launch on the horizon, we’re coming closer to making such a future a reality and look forward to easing the developer experience and overall security of Web3’s data infrastructure. Launching KYVE’s new website was one of our major goals in preparation for what’s to come. Be sure to check it out and let us know what you think!

This is just the beginning; we have many more innovations to add in the near future. And we’re not just talking about the website… KYVE’s App will also show off a new look later this year! Keep an eye out for updates.

More About KYVE

KYVE Network is revolutionizing customized access to on- and off-chain data by providing fast and easy tooling for decentralized data validation, immutability, and retrieval. Its data lake archives and validates data in a decentralized way, making trustless data easily accessible via solutions like KYVE’s Data Pipeline.

The network is powered by decentralized uploaders and validators funded by $KYVE tokens and aims to operate as a DAO following our mainnet launch. This past year KYVE has gained significant support, currently backed by top VCs, including Hypersphere Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, Distributed Global, Mechanism Capital, CMS Holdings, IOSG Ventures, and blockchains such as Arweave, Avalanche, Solana, Interchain, and NEAR.
